Talia Kowalski

Associate Attorney

Talia Kowalski was born and raised in Reading, Pennsylvania, before moving to Maine in 2023. In 2020, Talia graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, minoring in General Business. In 2023, Talia graduated from Penn State Dickinson Law. Throughout law school, Talia gained valuable experience in various family law related internships, including with the YWCA Domestic Violence Legal Center, Children's Advocacy Clinic, and as a law clerk for a nation-wide family law firm. Through these experiences, Talia developed a wide range of knowledge in Protection from Abuse, Divorce, and Custody matters.

Talia was sworn into practice as an attorney in Maine in 2023, and has been practicing family law since that time. Prior to joining Boyd Wentworth in September of 2026, Talia worked for three years at another private firm specializing in family law and parents' rights issues. Talia became a rostered Guardian Ad Litem in the Fall of 2025, and has practiced the best-interest analysis since that time.

Since becoming an attorney, Talia has maintained a practice centered on clear and consistent communications with clients during their family cases, and understands this is often one of the most difficult times in a client's life. Talia's approach considers the goals of the clients as well as robust education at each step of a case, so that clients understand what they are going through and what the next steps will be to accomplish their goals. Talia's practice has taken her all over the state of Maine, from Fort Kent to Wells, and many counties in between. 

Talia has been a member of the Order of the Barristers since 2023.

When Talia is not in the office, she enjoys tending to her garden, reading new books, learning new canning recipes, and playing with her puppy Ernie.
